getting it for xmas. was wondering what neone knew about it. i have all previous titles in series, but this looks and sounds like a differnt animal all together.

I recall reading somewhere here that one of our members plays this...forget which one... Shocked

there are a ton of servers to play on and 2 different ways to play it.
Guys I know play PvP (person v person). Sure you can read up about some/minimal stuff by following the link in my signature. They all play it. And feel free to join the board and ask some questions. Just let them know i sent ya to ask Laughing

I was gonna get it but it's pay to play online. I hate having to pay on-top of what i already played. I might get it down the road. Till then I'll stick with Starcraft, Broodwars, Diablo 2 and some Diablo.

even if WoW is the greatest game of all time it DOSENT have what keeps me coming here, which is all of you. so doan worrie, ill still be round here. silly f0ol.

WoW is a great RPG for most people... I was in the beta and i gotta admit i kicked uber a$$ xD i was thinking if sometime i can afford it to get it to... Razz

i play FT alot in lan, wouldnt mind a net game sometime. just dont bring that damn rokketlauncha. Cool

i took warcraft and frozen off my pc. I got it thinking it would be sweet like SC and BW but it wasn't

Well, Im an avid WoW player. Picked it up last week, and have been pretty indulged since then.

If your looking to get this game, I seriously suggest it. Most MMORPG's are just a grind to build your character up, and with that you lose a lot of the content. Well, Blizzard created this game in such a way that theres more content than any game I've ever seen. Also, levelling isnt extremely annoying. Each mission you complete, depending on difficulty rewards xp. Sometimes you can get a couple thousand xp, sometimes only 100. Im only a lvl 15 Mage, and I've completed something like 60 missions already.

Also, the pvp is pretty fun. Depending on what kind of server you play on, PVE or PVP, can really alter your gaming. I used to play SWG, and was active in a large pvp guild. Since then, I've kept with the play. On the pvp servers, when a horde player is in alliance territory, alliance has first strike, and vice versa.

While I understand not wanting to pay to play, but if your ok with the 12 a month for this game, go out and give this a try. I promise you wont be dissapointed.

And for any players that I dont know about. I play on the Thunderlord (central) server - PVP. Lvl 15 mage - named Livaz.

I'm just waiting a bit until people get a little more spread out on levels. Crap when everyone's hunting in the same fields.

I once played a MMORPG like that called EVE-online. I was so hooked I had to cancel and sell my accounts to keep me off it, and even now, 3 months later I still wanna play when I see the game. I hope I can stay better away from WoW, or else I need therapy =)

I get addicted to MMOs too easily. Addiction + monthly fee = broke Audhumla. I still don't know how I pried myself away from Runescape (I think the conversion to RS2 did it), and I still PK on RSC. THe lack of a monthly fee, and the inclusion of PvP combat is making Guild Wars really tempting...

pFhunk if u ever go on Battlenet if ur still gonna be playin FT add S.T.O.N.E.D. to ur Flist or just look for me, but i should be playin WoW alot now so...

got WoW installed(took 1 hour and 45 mins) including update. took two agonizing days to get registered and all the other bs. i never played a game like it. its the best, simply amazing, hooked from the start, havent even installed hl2...FANFUXNTASTIC. now all i gotta do is figure out how to play it around my schedule. kids, wife, job, chores, tfc.

the saying, "spare time" has always annoyed me, as if there is such a thing.

i dont kno much about it, but if ne of you wanna hook up and play, the name i am currently using is grabme, dont ask... youll understand when you c my character. i cant remember which realm im in tho, and im too lazy to look. Smile
