So what does Auto-det do anyway?

Drop blue pipes and walk away. When anyone comes within a few feet they explode. You can be on the other side of the map having a ball, it's like the pipes have a mind of their own.

I was on the server very late last night. You know...the time of night when few are on and we usually opt for a skill map. A player on at the time, CyberGrape, asked (in chat) if we could do a map with quad for demo. I said "sure, we can do conc_speed2".

I was a little tired and not being able to play demo on this map too well...decided to spec him and see what he could do. Damn...he was good. I've seen very few play it like this guy...he definitely had talent.

But...I knew I had speced this player before. I'd seen those moves, that style. There aren't too many talented demos of this quality. I never responded to anyones chat during the round...I just watched. Then, I did some research. I went to the catacombs and looked up this players steam ID and player name...came up blank...totally blank. Hmmm...a player this good with no history in their tracker? This player must be using a new ID. And I had a suspicion at this point as to who it was. So I dug deeper...I searched by IP address.

im probably gonna sound like a complete noob saying this, but what are the catacombs?

Sadly I wouldnt mind getting to that level of expertise with a demoman, But I'll deal with my aim for now Razz

instead of banning him and making a game out of it for him..

requesting permission to slowhack(do really mean things to him w/ admin_execclient) Smile

that would mean unbanning his ip addy and having an execclient bind/script that does various things to the name/steamid associated w/ that ip addy Evil or Very Mad

or not let him come on our server by keeping him banned?

kibbs, what im saying is it seems he gets a kick out of coming back. my idea is to make it undesirable for him to come back by letting us[admins] have fun w/ his configs even if its temporary.

if he continues to come back, it will be OUR game instead of his.
