Okaaay.

It seems as if the potential for -[CfH]- joining a league is high again. We have people with much experience willing to help guide us, and we've all gotten better at the game.

We will be starting and probably staying at a lower level of play (Copper/Bronze) as opposed to a "1337" level like Gold or Plat.

It seems we will be joining STA 5v5, since STA uses a ladder style as opposed to a season like UGC or TFL, where we'd have to wait till the start of the next one to get in on it. With a ladder, we're dropped right in (at the bottom, but meh)

Since we are at a low level this is OPEN TO ALL. All. There will be no exclusion based on skill level. Granted, since it is 5v5, only 5 people will be playing in a given game. But since there are 2 rounds to a game, if needed, we could switch somebody out if more than 5 REALLY wanted to play that round.

For those of you interested in this, please tell me your best class/that which you would most likely want to play in a league. Things to note: Snipers/Pyros are not that useful in CTF gameplay. Additionaly, since this is 5 v 5, there will only be 3 defenders max per team, so it would be VERY difficult for a spy to succeed, compared to an 8v8.

Lots of people who like to play Solly and Medic. It's like a Euro server!

If we can get all of these people on at the same time, we can run full games against ourselves, instead of 3 v 2 / 2 v 3 OvD games.
We seem to be lacking anybody who likes to play Spy. It'd be hard in a 5v5, but there are probably a few situations where it would be useful.

I'll do it except I wouldn't be able to use a mic, not that I can't get one, my computer is just too crappy to use a mic with.

My best class is medic, but I can play just about anything if it's needed.

Also remember we do have an irc chat room to use, might be a little easier to communicate with (and maybe it would get more than 5 people in there at a time Laughing

).

Just give good waring before match so i can say if i an help out.

OOOH i got an idea!! i could run my TFC server again (fixed up with NO mods though) for 5 on 5 matches, and we can use the server to have scrims for practice. the CfH team Vs RbN team server. course its gonna be password locked, but i can run it as long as i don't put any mods on.

Already done Crimson...I've installed a fresh new server with no mods or plug-ins of any kind. Just the stock maps now; but I'll be adding all the STA 5v5 maps to it also.

We can try it out tomorrow. Good Idea
