hey guys....
well i just moved out of my old house and now at the moment with my mother....i would jus like to know if any of u guys use dialup for TFC...cause if i cant use it then theirs liek a 1/100000000 chance i could continue playing with u guys  |

| do u remember foxtrot and his ping? well just a little better than that cuz u wouldnt be connecting from australia. dont expect to be able to HH conc or anything w/ 200 ping. stay w/ hw. |

Duk...I can assure you the settings on the server are friendly to dial-up users. I'm not saying you'll have the same or the best experience. But servers can be set up to allow only high end connections. We allow any connection possible to the server.
Give it a try. You can glitch around like jarrett now.  |

| aw man, it sucks that you cant play well anymore, but DO keep playing. i started out tfc on dial-up and it was an experience, but it is possible! |

When I tried playing with Dial up, I could not play AT ALL. It took me like 15 minutes to even get to the in-game screen.. and once I could play, it was only a matter of minutes before I lost my connection and had to restart the process.
If you have to download a new map.. forget it. Half the map is over by downloads end. And the sounds.. ho boy.
that was just my experience though. |

my house has also i think "optimum"...i think thats better than dial-up....isnt it like DSL and that stufff???????

wurd i have Optmium Online too and its freaking amazing. Ive gone throughout 4 of intenet types. Stage 1: I was 9 and we got AOL Dial-Up (SUCKS i cant even explain how much AOL sucks balls)
Stage 2: AOL DSL i was nieeve and didnt know but well it was liek 2 times faster and just helped aol kick you off faster those bastards
Stage 3: Verizon DSL, ahh good ol' Verizon iit was ok pretty good speed but shitty modem (than i moved "across the street" litterly and i call up Verizon to put me back online and the bastards told me i couldt recive Verizon DSL in my area. (after 4 phone calls,347823873 curse words,and 34834298 times i said "Verizon you suck I moved right across the mOthertrucking street" i gave up) Stage 4: Optimum Online by far the best Cable In the world IMO its the shittay!!!!!!!!!!! i love it never been kicked off and runs right on startup.
i <3 my current ISP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but well they could atleast hook us up with some of our own webspace like Comcast dose i think. |
