How many "I'm back" stories do we need ffs??  right, to piss many more people off, here's mine. If you don't like it,
Ok... so when was I last here, moday night maybe? Anyway, tuesday, after college, I came home, backed up all my user data onto a spare hard disk. I then rearranged my hard disks between my client and server. Why? I wanted to reinstall the operating systems, and move alot of the server applications from my main client machine onto the dedicated server.
So, I move the HDD's, format them both, install Windows Server 2003 Enterprise without any problems onto my server.
On my client I had to spend a day finding Serial ATA drivers so Windows XP setup would find my bloody hard disk!!
Oh and after it installed, it decided to put the hard disk as letter G (tard), so I had to spend another while sorting that s**t out .. now I just got loads to do.
The real cookie is, MY ****ing SOUND CARD DRIVERS WON'T WORK so I'm without sound apart from the PC Speaker beep upon error messages. Not to mention that crappy AVG not working !! Now I have no virus scanner (trojan horses, here they come).
Right, there's my story, now you can all stfu  What's happened while I was away anyway? Anything good?

Fixed my sound card by using old drivers  Stupid Windows  Anyway, I still need good FREE anti-virus software .. browsing the internet without atm which is pretty dangerous with you bunch of h4xorz!!
Everything seems to be up now, I got Steam installed so I can play TFC.
Although I won't be doing any mapping/gaming tonight. Got some college s**t that has to be in tomorrow, alot of it too

I won't be working on my map til sometime next week, I got a pile of college work I gotta catch up on over the weekend. If I get a moment I'll compile the map with the new model, but don't get your hopes up 
That Mario was a bit of an asshole tbh.. just sucked up all the time and acted like a complete prat. I was laughing, ALOT, when I saw that banned note from Chips
BTW got my sound card working  Only problem I got now is anti-virus. I need anti-virus software that's free, that I can use on my Windows XP Professional client machine, and my Windows Server 2003 Enterprise machine.
AVG is messed up on my client.. I normally use that, and it don't work on server operating systems. |
