Start drinking the sugary girly drinks. They're a nice introduction if you don't really like the taste. It'll get you used to it.
Personally when I started drinking I wasn't into beer at all. I tended to steer clear of it. Eventually it has grown on me and it is now my first choice of alcoholic beverage. Furthermore, you've got to find a beer that you like. There are lots of different "flavours" and varieties for you to try. Just get out there and explore. |
Guiness was the 'best' tasting beer I've tried, it still tasted horrible, but it tasted less horrible than others I've tried.

That wasn't his quote!! That was mine.
Also, start off with "soft shots". "Cocksucking cowboys" or anything with a snapps base are good. |

Guiness is a damn fine starting beer. Some gentler ones will usually be an "amber ale" or such. Fruity drinks like margaritas or daquiris are amazingly easy to drink.
Avoid gin at all costs.
Everything in moderation of course. Especially if you find something you LOVE. Nearly everyone I know has a liquor they can't even stand to be around because of a bad experience they had, possibly decades ago. |

Well, this, is me and the paramedic watching over me on my first rotation, at Friendswood EMS(pretty much the only volunteer service in all of Houston, and they are great, I'd love to work for them). First one to guess what's in between us gets something.

it looks like a stretched or back brace thing or something like that for little people.
Do you plan on ever going to med school and/or taking MCATS to have some sort of hospital or general practitioner job? |

Yes it looks like a colapsable/folding back board, it even has the slots by the head area for the head brace to immobilize the head in case of neck injury.
oh yea and you can also try some micro brews from certain companies if you dont like the taste of most beers. Alot of Breweries are comming out with beers that have hints of pumpkin or blueberry or other fruit tastes to them. I had a blueberry ale the other day at the bar as part of my 100 beers club and it wasn't bad at all.
Oh and I only drink the beers on my list when I'm having dinner other times its straight to the good stuff Smithwicks or Guinness so eat it Falcon! |

You're both wrong, it's not a back board, it's a device called an autopulse. It does compressions for you. I might go to med school, I haven't fully decided yet. I'm going to try my hand at computer animation before I decide. I did take my National Registry EMT-Basic test today. I think I passed but I won't know until Friday at the earliest. The test ends when you can no longer fail, or no longer pass, so you don't know which it is until later. It sucks. I'll try some different beers, but that might have to wait a while. |

Wait until you get to dissect cats. Keeping in mind they are already dead anyway, its a lot of fun. |
