Two enemies early in Sanctuary are problematic, the Quad MB Drone and the Rezbit. The MB Drones must be dealt with in two phases, although you can do one or the other first. It's possible to take out the head with missiles and beam blasts first, leaving the bottom behind. Alternatively, if it does its spin attack, knock it out of that mode by hitting it with the Boost Ball. That will cause it to stop, and its center will glow red -- that means it's vulnerable to bombs or the Boost Ball, either of which will smash the lower half. Then, just hit the head with Dark or Light Beams depending on the aura around it -- counter with the opposite beam. Rezbits are more dangerous, but simpler to deal with. Hit them with a charged Dark Beam attack and follow with a Missile while they're frozen. Easy as that.
