Hey. Some of you guys seen me on the server. I just started to get back into TFC after quitting 2 years ago (I still own Chips). But i was wondering... i had my server up, i dunno if chips remembers it, but it had 3rd person view on it.

It's considered a hack in some servers, which is completely absurd... you cant aim well, it's hard to Rocket Jump. The only thing it's good for is when you're a scout or medic, when you're capping flags. It's awesome when you Bhop. The Code is this:

cam_idealyaw 0
bind f12 "camon"
alias camon "cam_command 1;eon; bind f12 camoff"
alias camoff "firstperson; eoff; bind f12 camon"

BUUUT It wont work on Anyones server w/o sv_cheats 1. I know we dont want cheats to be 1 so some guys that loved 3rd person made it into a addon for admin mod. So you can download it and by command you type in "Admin 3rd person" and the server will respond, "Okay, you are now in 3rd person" It's a very complicated mod, but i figured it out so that means Chips can figure it out damn easy.

I just think it would be another cool addon. I would use it, even when im sniping... when your head is in the way of the dot Rolling Eyes

its not so much of a hack but, it allows u to see around corners and such and with a simple script you could switch back and forth. fromt 1st to 3rd person. so it does give you an advantage. =)

Actaully, Trance, it doesnt have that much of an advantage. It follows your head. So you can only see about 20 degrees more of an angle around the corner... And even if you did see the guy... it's hard to kill him with it on. Yea, they might turn it off, but so? Smile

you gotta be good.

I took a look today and was unable to find this plugin. If you can give me it's name, or better yet, a direct link to it...I'll check it out.

I think he's talking about adminop (which sucks)

Oh yea, it is an automatic plugin on AdminOP. I remember it being on my Admin Mod because i asked an AdminOP guy for the code, let me ask again for it and ill get back to you.

when sv_cheats 1 is on its alot easier than that

cam_command 1
cam_idealyaw 0

and there ya go, the cam is behind you in 3rd person

its considered cheating because you have perfect conc aim, wherevr you aim in 3rd person even when conced it shoots there
