Chips you can definately tell the difference between 128 and 320.

I know...that was the point of my post... Wink
192 is good...but I won't dl anything other than 224. That's the least quality I prefer to listen to. My own rips are also done at 224.

<---now has a portable mp3 player that can be used in my car. Cool

It's nothing fancy. A regular CD/mp3 player with a car adapter...very reasonable prices these days. I paid $59... Laughing

And, of course, you still have to burn them. You'll just do a lot less burning. Wink

Actually there are a few radios out now thats play cd/dvd in them and are MP3 compatable. 4.7GB on a dvd should last you awhile in the car. Just burn the dvd as a data disc, or mp3 disc and your good to go...
here is one
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=32825&item=5757407026&rd=1

you also have this KEG
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7958047557&ssPageName=ADME:B:EF:US:1

then for TV shows i download if i like and keep them. I have a VCR but this is just like tivo or a PVR and burn to disc. I will eventually get a PVR and a DVD burner for my home use but this works good for under 70$

and you dont have to get it at walmart thats just the 1st one i hit. www.overstock.com has em cheaper too 59.95 from there

Some MP3 players have tape deck convertors too, for those of you with cassette.

Wow...nice machine, but it seems a little much at $130 bucks when you can just hook up line out on your stereo receiver to line in on your sound card.

Much cheaper option. Laughing

Still, I had no idea they made such a device...good find. Wink

http://www.isohunt.com for searching for torrents is my favorite. I just wish peeps were sharing Sliders episodes; I can't find 'em anywhere, not on Warez, not om Kazaa, and not on torents either!

I don't mind sharing stuff for free on the net, usually for me I get movies, music, p0rn, and game demos. If I like it, I buy it. There is nothing nicer that a boxed set imo. And nothing better than free DELETABLE (ooops, boos/mom) p0rn!

I paid Valve for Half Life 2 on Steam (I've got issues with Vivendi, I'd pay to have Vivendi's team shot, nothing fatal but thats another story)

Go ahead and pay 12.99 on cd's all you want...

How about BMG 12 cds for 1 penny +contract to buy some at normal price?

If i like it i'll buy it becauz converting to CD doesnt make it cd quality. If i like one song i'll keep it trash the rest and not buy the cd. Better to test bands out this way then pay the 12.99 to be totally dissatisfied with the crap cd i just bought.

So true: I like Metallica so I bought St. Anger CD w/ rehersals DVD @ $16.99. LOL I only like TWO songs on there but the dvd is funny.

I'd give you a million $$$ ( not really Razz ) if you could get mine to work..

I've got a netgear mr814v2 router and have tried forwarding the correct ports, have tried allowing ports on my firewall and allowing it access to the internet, hell even disabling my firewall and none of this works, i keep only getting speeds of about 2kb/sec tops and i have no idea what is wrong

One time i was searching a whole day for a solution and tried about 8 different things with not one working, for me, bittorent just won't work.

just looked through my router settings and found out i have UPnP, if someone could explain how this helps me to peer2peer then it would be muchos appreciated Smile

depends on how many seeds there are on the torrent. I have had some go slow and some go fast. Also depends on how many leechers there are. sometimes a ton of leechers and 10 seeders goes slow
