Grrr...free stuff....if you really like something that much I think you should support it...especially when it comes to music.

I normally download the full version of a game, movie, or music to try it out. If I like it, I will pay for it Smile If I don't, I delete it because I have no reason to keep it.

I don't see what's so wrong about that Smile

Apart from Windows, lol I've got illegal copies of Windows 3.1, 3.11 for WorkGroups, 95, 98SE, 2000 Professional, and XP Professional. Mr. Green:

there is always one no matter where you go. If you dont agree with it don't read the thread and don't post your thoughts. Go ahead and pay 12.99 on cd's all you want... If i like it i'll buy it becauz converting to CD doesnt make it cd quality. If i like one song i'll keep it trash the rest and not buy the cd. Better to test bands out this way then pay the 12.99 to be totally dissatisfied with the crap cd i just bought.

That depends on the bit rate used to rip it in the first place. Most rips are at 128kbps to conserve file size. If you've ever heard a rip at 224 or 256kbps...it's quite good indeed. I would defy all but the most sophisticated audiofile to discern the difference. 320 kbps is the highest I've seen...but dl's of that quality are rare; again, due to the larger file size.

Chips you can definately tell the difference between 128 and 320. I can even tell the difference between 128 and 160. 128 is just bad quality all around to be quite honest. I ripped my favorite band at 320, but other than that 192 is really good quality in terms of file size, even 160 is very decent.

OK see that's actually understandable...I just don't like it when people know they like something and download it anyway.

I might pirate Battlefield 2. I likely won't buy it; I'm pissed at EA.
