was an awesome run guys. man how i wish we could back to the old days where tfc was really popular. no game will ever be that good.

I leave for college tomorrow and now this makes me more sad =(((

It's been quite a trip gentlemen (and ladies). My apologies about not playing lately... I've just been so busy with my social life and college and such, and when I WAS up to play, all I'd see is a server full of bots...

At least we ended it on a good note, before we became "another lame bot server." It was a good run, and we definitely have to start a bi-weekly frag-fest on different games on Chips' home server... I'd definitely be down for that =)

We had a really good turnout on the server last night. I haven't seen that many people on there in a long time. There was at least 20 at one point.

I'll be on this evening again as well...hope to see as many as possible there tonight. Cool

It was fun and different playing tfc once again earlier today. I forgot how much I liked ADL especially ksour. Thanks Chips, for your time and effort throughout the years with the server and community. I play TF2 mainly nowadays, and I'll pub often on Soli's server.

As unfortunate as it is, it's definitely time to let go. I mean, today is the only day that I've seen the server active in at least a year. I'll miss playing TFC with you guys, but it's time to move on. Hopefully we'll all be playing another game sometime soon. (Warhammer anybody? Very Happy

Just a new beginning. No one was really playing any more despite this weekends turnout. There was just no need to keep and pay for a full time server that sat empty most of every day.

I'd be more than happy to put up a server on my home connection for any of the following that I currently have set up...TFC (skills or regular play), CS Source, HL2 Deathmatch, Fortress Forever, TF2 and Synergy.

I'm fairly sure I'll throw something together for the Star Wars mod discussed in another thread. Heck, I'll throw together a server for any game a good number of people would be willing to play. This place was about community remember???...not just a game.

We'll keep in touch with everyone here and in our Steam community group. Many use X-Fire as well so I'm told if you wish to stay in touch that way. There will be many more games for us all...we'll just have to arrange where and when...and we'll poke some holes in each other. Laughing

I generally play every nite (my time) when I am home - I play against bots mostly but every now and then someone joins. I enjoy killing the bots and I have really enjoyed playing on here. I am certainly going to miss it. Thanks Chips Goodbye from a fan in Australia Sad

Hey chips i really wanted to thank you for making all of this happen. I know you were spending alot of money to keep all of these things going and I really appreciate it.

Ive gotten to see this place change alot over the years and i loved every minute of it. Thanks again chips for providing all us kids a great place to play Smile
