I don't know why, but there seems to be aiming lag when I play TFC. I move the mouse and the game crosshair moves slightly behind.
I want to uninstall TFC then install it again to fix the problem. I tried uninstalling it through Steam, then installed it again, but all the settings are still there.
Then I tried deleting the team fortress classic folder, and installed it again. The problem is still there.
How do I uninstall TFC where if I install it again, the settings would go back to default? The screen resolution, name, mouse sensitivity, etc... would all go back to default? |

Uninstall through steam like you did...then delete your TFC folder. Of course, keep backups of any maps, configs and stuff of that nature that you may use again.
Before you do all this, you may want to check your connection settings in Steam. Many here have had problems after installing/updating steam where their connection setting was set back to dial up rather than cable/dsl. Worth a shot.  |

Come on Koop....TFC is run on a 10 year old HL engine. You could run it on a cell phone, practically. Get your head outta the glue bag.  |

| Yeah I dunno what's wrong. I deleted Steam and reinstalled it. Same thing. There's a lag when I move the mouse. Every other game is good, so I dunno what's causing it. |

One thing to check, especially since you said you reinstalled it, is your RATE. Default RQATE is set to I think 2500 which is absolutely horrible.
Mine is set to 9999 and works perfectly.
In console, type RATE and hit the ENTER....see what its set to.
To change it, type RATE 9999 and hit the Enter.
Hopefully that solves the problem. |

| Did you change your vsync settings recently? I think I heard somewhere that it can mess around w/ your mouse or something like that. |

| do you have that mouse acceleration setting checked under the mouse settings? sounds like that setting. |
