anyone here watch baseball or anything..?

I've been a huge Baltimore Orioles fan for like 15 yrs now and baseball has been and will always be my favorite sport. I bought MLB TV so i can watch the games on my computer.

Anyway great start for my O's so far, 5-1 and just completed a 4-game sweep over the Mariners. I don't wanna get my hopes up because they always fall apart after the all-star break and they haven't been to the playoffs since 1996. However though, the bullpen really looks solid so far which has been one of their biggest problems for a long time, so i'm glad about that, but still...their starting pitching worries me. So w/ that...they could be 1-5 or 0-6 right now like people predicted they would, but they aren't, so we O's fans have some hope atm right now lol.

My Mariners will still win the West!

Lifelong O's fan here, was at the game Saturday. Yeah this start was unexpected, but you know it won't last Falcon. April's been the best month to be an O's fan for too many years now, usually all downhill after that. It's encouraging to see the bullpen much improved so far and the hitting seems better, but you're right...our starting pitching is really weak. I'm definitely going to enjoy this while it lasts, but in the end could care less how we do this year, I'm just happy to see the O's are finally truly rebuilding. Maybe if they do well enough though then they can convince Texeira to sign with his hometown team. Oh, and we last made the playoffs in 97.

And for the M's, I've always had a soft spot for them since the Ken Griffey days. If they get their bullpen problems worked out they can go really far. Bedard/Hernandez will be the best 1/2 pitching lineup imo, Felix was nasty the other day. That O's/M's trade was great for both teams.

And since I don't see any hockey threads, let me just add: go CAPS!!!

Man the M's blew it cause Putz is injured. Once he comes back he needs to get back into the groove of cleaning up and the M's can pull ahead in the West. ESPN picked them to win it and so do I!

Keep us posted on the O's. I don't watch much baseball, but I gotta root for the home team.

I pay little if no attention to baseball until at least the all-star break. There's just far too many games and it's waaaaaaaaaay to early to begin bragging, discussing and/or worrying about any team at this point.

Putz is the best Relief in the MLB. Thats why we need him back.
