Well, due to the vote I went ahead and registered our team for UGC 9v9 Highlander on Wednesdays. The time matches will be played is 8:30-9:00 est. Mostly I'll be able to grab steam ids from the -[CfH]- 5v5 and ADL squads. If you are not on either team please provide your steam id here on this thread.

For a possible first get together of the team it will more than likely be conducted on Oct. 3, which is a Weds. We'll either be able to practice on a server of our own, or we'll all join a pub together, try to all get on the same team Laughing

, and destroy the opposition. Doing all of this while getting a feel for a strategy. This doesn't mean you shouldn't start thinking right now. Currently I'm in San Antonio, TX with my girlfriend on vacation, and I won't be back home till October 3rd.

I have put together a TF2 server. I've only run it once so I know it works. I can let you guys use it next week if necessary. However, as much as I'd like playing ANY game with you guys...I really haven't found the love for this mod like many of you have. I have no intention at this point in playing this much, if at all...let alone in a competetive environment.

Perhaps my mind will change...perhaps not. At this point I can pretty honestly say that I have no interest in supporting this mod in our community at all. That said...although I can provide a place to practice, I really don't know if I want to. I don't want that to sound rude...I just don't like the game that much and won't be wasting a lot of my time keeping up with server installs and patches. Also, if we have no community server for this mod...where will matches be played?

IF we're going to branch out as a community playing this game, including competition...we'll need a home. Homes cost money. We don't have any currently. Surprised

Thank you for your insight Chips. To address the server it all depends on the current status of TFC ADL league, and how long it continues. I'm not going to sweep the rug from under anyone's feet. So if STA ADL continues my support for the server will continue towards the CfH adl squad. If there is a will there is a way. I'll figure something out with either UGC will support a community league, asking for help in general to any clan that will help support us that isn't playing on Wednesdays, and talking to my new server provider to see if they'll offer me a deal/discount of any sort.

edit: Plus I'm officially taking donations to get Jum a new computer. Harvest season for whale blubber did not go well for him, so he needs all the help he can get. It's hard enough that he hasn't payed child support for months now.

Yep, mine does. HW is at the top with most.

Mines more like sideway stairs, I play one class a little more, but Im fairly well rounded.
