I watched the clip and honestly, it doesn't really seem like he was hacking. I'd say two shots out of all the shots he made in that game were above average for a seasoned tfc player like Rebs.

I'm a personal friend of Rebel_Leader AKA Boris, and he has told me himself that earlier that day he was messing with cheats for tfc with his little brother, and then turned them off to play in a public server, was doing pretty well, and got accused of hacking.

Boris has always been exceptional at tfc. I have gone to his house and watched him play, killing one guy after another with no cheats whatsoever, thinking to myself how freaking good he is. Then I sit down at the desk and play and suck. Honestly if you really take the time to consider the video from both sides instead of going into it with an attitude, you'll notice the shots aren't quite as "suspicious" as you originally thought.

Just my two cents.

Y'all probably don't know what you're talking about with hax. I fully trust the judgement that he hacked on that server.

I don't think that means he should be banned here, though. Need I remind you of Muchez's judgement (multiple times, no less)? He got caught for hacking HERE how many times? What's his current ban status?

Overall, Rebs is a good guy, and I doubt many of you would try to deny that. There's a number of us who enjoy his company, and he clearly wants to stay. I've also never seen any evidence that he's hacked here (and doubt such evidence exists.) I really don't feel like he's hacked here, though that's just my personal opinion chipping in.

its quite frustrating for people that dont actually know anything about hacks, to tell everyone that theres nothing on that demo, because youre just wrong im sorry. regardless of how good someone is, things just dont happen in tfc over and over like that. ive liked rebs so its not like ive got this vendetta out to get him and such so that argument is throw out, yet even if it was falcon or cc or chips himself, i would be seeing the exact same shots and tracking that look quite obvious. im not giving my opinion as to if he should be banned here, and im definately not saying taht he is a bad person, but on that demo it is quite apparent to me that he was hacking.

well i think chips has to come out and make the last post and say what has to be said, because i just think we're done here...i'd just hate to see this turn into something more than what it is right now.

I agree. Also, just because it looks like he's hacking doesn't prove that he is. I know how wall hacks work, I know how aimbot works, my cousin uses them all the time in cs. I can tell you that in my honest opinion he wasn't using either one.

I get small changes to enhance gameplay; crosshairs, jump scripts, reload, etc. I've seen Chips post screen shots with toon models. All fun. The only place for cheat scripts is your own home game. Wanna enable noclip to get past a tough conc map jump, woohoo, have at it.
Absolutely no sympathy for cheaters.
You can respawn spam, chase, play like an ass all day if you like. At least we're all equal, I can do the same to you and your team if I like. But when you cheat you take away the only rule of the game (other then the underlying physics) that we all share.
I don't consider funny and engaging chat conversation sufficient criteria for the title of "good guy".
I appreciate the careful consideration, it's a sign of respect to the accused player. After the facts revealed a cheater, a perm ban is a sign of respect to the rest of us. Thanks Chips.

How do I go about playing the demo?

viewdemo demoname

1) Open TFC
2) Select "Create Server"
3) Start on any randon map
4) type "viewdemo" or "playdemo" in your console.

One way allows you to use controls similar to a vcr...the other just views.

I can almost assure you all that rebs will be back one day. I like him personally and always enjoyed playing with him. Despite that...as Angry said, this is being done for the rest of us. Neutral
