So, I ended up getting a USB headset, which hopefully is a lot better than my old dingy headset that kept on falling apart. My question is, what all do I need to do to get it working? I plugged it into the USB port, but don't really know where to go from there.

Well, I think I found my problem. I plugged it in before pulling out my standard headset. I still did unplug my old headset a long time ago, but I guess I had to replug in the USB headset, and now all is good. And all that time I was busy considering having to DL drivers for it or something.

Argh, new problem. It's working beautifully with TFC, but I can't get the mic to make a sound in Vent.

I prefer tapping it on the desk. I have people in the house, you know, Aud.
