Maybe the Sopranos is too nuanced for "kids these days"??? Its gotta be the most psychological show ever. Loved the series. I agree about the ending. Nicely done. Anything else would have felt strange and I really did wonder what they would decide on. |

Chips, I watched the part where everyone was getting bumped off then had to leave. I came home tonight and heard my dad say on the phone "oh yea and he gets run over". I wanted to cry knowing that I just heard the end! Gotta go back and watch it though, god bless DVR. |

| never had hbo until last year, and even tho some members of my family were REALLY into it, it never really interested me... i think i saw like 2 episodes of it total and i have no idea when |

Here's what I think after too many year's burning brain cells watching the show....... well here goes......
First off Tony never woke up from falling asleep holding that bad ass AR-15. All the bs in the cafe at the end is just Tony reflecting his life in a dream. What I think.... is Adrianna never was killed. We never saw her get killed just let out of a car, and we assumed she was killed by Sil in the woods. She will testify against Tony and his crew and thats the end....  Maybe a shoot out at the house, but I dont think so... What a waste of a million hours of dumb TV. |

The general concensus on the net, blogs and such, is that Tony got whacked.
The flashback Tony has at the beginning of the show supposedly tells the tale. Tony and Bobby are sitting in the boat talking about Bobby's future...and...what it might be like in the "end". Bobby tells Tony..."I dunno...I suppose you hear nothing and everything just goes black". Just like the show ended.
Another friend pointed out something that I didn't read or hear anywhere else. When Tony first walks into the eatery at the end of the show...he's wearing a different shirt then the one he was wearing at the table. Kind of lends creedence to Bentdog's comments.
Either way...it's generally accepted that he got popped.  |
