Well... Microsoft readily knows and accepts the fact that this will almost never sell to the common consumer, but rather to businesses such as restaurants and anything of the sort. There was a video of Bill Gates showing this off at the event they just had here in Carlsbad, CA; and it was pretty awesome. Sort of like, ordering food from the table and paying with your credit card without needing to swipe it (just place it on the touchscreen); as well as wi-fi media transfer (like the Zune for example).
I do see this making a future showcasing, but not to the general consumer use... |
