Good luck affording it.
Pretty sweet, though, wonder where you can get one. |

It's neat, but I don't think it'll ever fly. I can't imagine enough programs taking advantage of the technology for it to be worthwhile. |

No way. As soon as I saw this I can see so many applications. Kids making art in the living room, picture viewer, a version in a bar or nightclub, gaming, large ones for creative businesses. It's interactive, intimate and collaberative - you don't have one person at the console and other saying click here, enlarge that. It's brilliant.
People hate keyboards and mice. Computing power is tremendous, but I/O has not kept up. You can carry so much HP in the palm of your hand, but the current methods of interaction with those devices sucks. Think eyeglass based video with a virtual 6 foot wide display instead of 3" LCD screen and voice recog instead of thumb board and scroll wheel.
This is real, developers will be all over this. Look at it the other way around, no one buys one of the devices until the application creates the demand. I worked for Qwest years ago and they were shoveling out buckets of money to universities who'd develop applications designed specifically for Internet 2's mongo bandwidth. Same thought pattern, no one gets an OC-192 or OC-768 pipe without a clear application or content requirement.
I'd personally like to see a drum set and crazy percussion icons that responded when I tapped them. And you sick freaks would be ecstatic about pr0n on one of those things . . .
Let your mind go . . . this is HUGE! |

I can see ppl creating "dirty" picture icons where ppl have to point at unmentionables and enjoying this for hours.........
On a more serious note, this technology, if not already deployed as such, could have enormous military potential (command post use) |

Please tell me I'm not the only one who is too used to keyboard and mouse, and always screw up with touchscreens, because I always miss? (damn hand-eye coordination) |
