I have not been at a thankgiving dinner for at least six years. Oh I'll get plates of food givinto me but it is not the same.

I Find it hard to findthings to be thankfull for. I mean I'm not talking materialistically, but as a person, a soul, on the leg of his journey that requires that soul to be born, live, and die as a human on this rock.

Circummstances of late have caused thoughts to croos my mind to end my vigil on this rock and move on to the next rung in the ladder of existence.

I speak metaphorically, I do not know what waits to be seen up that ladder or even if it exists.

This community (cFh) has been the only freind that i can rely on to be there to listen and I thank you for you support.

I don't know you really well personally Spider-Man, but I respect you a whole lot with your dedication and efforts within the CfH community from being an admin to creating much needed bot way points for new maps. All I really have to say is to keep your head up. Yeah we all go through rough times, but what truly makes a character is how you can conquer hardship, or learn an important lesson. Big picture is that things may be not going towards the direction you like, or how you like to see things happen. The key is that usually events of unhappiness only last for a brief time. Remain positive.

Be thankful for life. (not talking about you, dont worry) If you actaully hate life, you wouldnt be living. Life is wonderful, it's full of suprisings.

Be thankful for turkey (light meat only). Woot!

Thanks for the input. I got through it, i was invited to a friend's place for a game of cards. She was going through the same depression I was about thanksgiving, and it ended up that we found something to be thankfull for; each other.

spidey lets be honest here...life sucks. but whenever i get down i think of those worse off then me. peole starve all over the world....if im hungry i go to the fridge or mcd's. there are people who dont have a roof over their head.......if im cold i go inside my apartment(or house). people are slaughtered (in diffrent countries) over their ethnic backround.......luckily im in a country where u cant be killed for that. i could go on forever...

thye point is simple. no matter how crappy you feel there is ALWAYS som1 who is worse off then you. next time your down think of all the things u have(ie: a job, CfH, porno,fat pipe of tasty smoke, ect) this should make you feel better. look at chips he is like 500 yrs old and he manages to keep his head and chins up!

remember it could always be worse. you could be rage or laffy taffy. now that would be crappy! (jokin b4 i get nasty emails)

I thought you were gonna make things worse whith that opening statement, but it is true.
While we biatch about how badly our job sucks, 11 year old kids work 16 hour days making shoes or cheap toys they're forbidden to play with. If they get paid will be good, but some kids are kidnapped, and used as slave labor in sweat shops

You complain of a bad holiday, some people are shot on this day, because some kids with guns think it's fun. If they could have a holiday from all of that, they would be rejoicing like never in their history.

So, we may live in a country where our cable television rates are high for TV, but most countriesdon't even have electricity, and a constant civil war is ongoing. We complain about how bad our day went, they are thankfull they survived that day.
We're pretty spoiled, when you think about it.
