Hola! I was on the server with ya a couple seconds ago.

While here, you will have five people bestow their wisdom upon you. One will advise you to be aware of low flying spam, another will gladly offer you a bowl of noodles, another will welcome you to the crazy train, then someone will provide you a bowl of eggs, and lastly, someone warns ya with cute fuzzy lil kittys that we're goin to own you. But nevertheless, all of them will welcome you here. So welcome to the family!!! Very Happy

lets see, I purchased Quake1 the day after it came out to the public... About a week later I found myself purchasing a 33.6kbps modem for upwards of $90 so that I could play without a 1500+ ping.

Quake really didn't do it for in the very early days, there was no client side prediction or juicy netcode back in those days, and ISDN was considered fast.. LOL. I mostly messed around with some random mods like FvF and some of the spin-offs, then one day I stumbled across Team Fortress for the QuakeWorld client... I was instantly hooked and have spent many hours fragging away in the classics like 2fort4 and 2fort5r, well6, bam4, and all the other classic maps that Valve copied with TFC... I actually founded a group called RocketPro's (`07) which was quite possibly the very first rocket jumping guild, back when there were only a handful of rj maps and a few rj servers... actually even before conc jumping became a "skill" and just before dispenser jumping was finally given up on..

I messed around in a few clans, honestly cant remember the names too well, I played in STA back when it was the only league (that I knew of)...
I've been called one of the meanest defensive soldiers and at once time lead theclq 1on1 soldier ranks.

After I while I drifted off into counter-strike world.. I'd still mess around with tfc a little to fill my old-school QW|TF habbit, but nothing ever too seriously.

I took a break from coputer life for a few years and didn't do anything online.

now here we are like 10 years later... I finally have my life somewhat in order, I like to play tfc now adays, eagerly awaiting tf2 (as I've been since like 1999), and actually looking to do some serious play for a team if possible. I may have to start going soldier... but I really dont think you want any of that.... Wink

You should check out www.fortressforever.com It's going to be pretty much TFC on source, and it's free, so you can get both it and TF2(which is what I'm going to do).
