Idk about the cpu, but the cpu for my graphics card is running at 56C right now and I'm not involved in anything graphically intense, so I would surmise that it would be about the same for a normal cpu, maybe even a little higher.

running idle, the hottest thing in my computer is a HD running at 40c, so I guess I'n good

I run at 46 (cpu temp) and thats with only 2 fans. im thinking about getting another.

The ideal temperatures depend on what processor / GPU you have.

Post these specifications, and we can help you further.

Generally speaking, no component should be operating above 70ºc.
