June 27th...hard to believe another year has gone by. 
As I sit here planning what to do...for certain the server will be in birthday mode. Yeah, those little prezzies as nades and those annoying "Happy Birthday" sounds...I kinda like em.  Monster Mod will be on at least one map...that mod is simply insane. There will also be several maps with the hook enabled. Like last year...I'll probably run my home server with TFCTech.
We'll probably start this late Saturday night/early Sunday morning and go right through Tuesday nights STA match, June 27th...the server's actual birthday. Can a server even have a birthday  Maybe we should just call it Happy Server Day... 
All of this as a reminder of how this place actually started...with the goofiest things going on that you could imagine. Don't worry all you hard core players...it's only for a couple of days...you'll get over it. We'll more than likely engage in "stupid engie tricks" (if you've never seen us do this...ask someone who has), some fireworks riding...and we'll have to build another one of those "radio ladders"...we'll show ya how.
I'll post more detail when I get it all worked out.  |
