I split this off from the other map topic...since it seemed to change gears...Chips

Well, I have concluded that the poly-count is WAY too high...so I'm going to have to do a major overhaul on the map. Going to take a long time.

But in the meantime, I've been working on a simple 2fort map on my computer at work...it's coming along alright. I'm trying to focus more on gameplay than looking cool on this one (And if you can't tell which team's side you're on...you're an idiot! [Oops, or colorblind...don't mean to offend you people.] ):

It's not the greatest looking map, but it's fun so far.

To be honest, I think the simpler looking maps look better. I think that the map should be a tad bit brighter, though.

And that grate like battlements seems kind of, well, iffy. I would personally like to have that removed, but it's your choice, and there might be differing opinions.

So if I were to remove the grates, should it still have a window there or be a solid wall?

A window would be just fine.

Yeah I know, but the lighting comes last. I'm just throwing enough lights up so I can see my work...I'll properly light it when the mapping as complete.

**EDIT** Thanks for making this map it's own thread Chips. I suppose that was a pretty big topic change. **EDIT**
