The Olympics won't be such a bad thing. Unless you're renting in which case you're screwed.
In Sydney the housing boom ended just after the Olympics and we had a glut for a while. It seems common for most cities after they host a major event like this to have a sudden boom and then a long slowdown. |

| We've been booming for a while now and have alot of things going for us. But I hope the housing market tanks shortly after the Olympics so I can get a break on a house. |

If it doesnt go down, you can move to a comparable place here in the good ole US of A. Might I suggest Newark, NJ.  |

Latest update.
Yesterday (Friday) got the front of the house almost 100% done.....handrails, trim, etc. Also finished the left side of the house which was only done up to the 2nd floor level.
TOday, I have to trim out the side porch, and completely finish that. Then, hopefully finish trimming out the new bay window in front. All this in 90+ degree weather.
Would have been completely done by now if I didnt have mega overtime the past 2 weeks. BAHHHHHH
Just thought Id fill ya all in. And, if anyones passing thru.....come by.....but bring your tools with ya. |
