As like the last week or so, the next 2 weeks Im on vacation as I attempt the remove and replace the siding on my house. (Last week I put an 8 foot wide hole in my living room for a bay window.....sexy it is) 
Anyway, I'll be working like 12 hours a day on this crap and my involvement will be limited as far as gaming will go.
Dont sweat it, I'll be fully involved in our ADL team, but that might be the extent of it all for the next couple of weeks.....I want to get this all done before July and the REAL heat comes a knocking.
See you all in a few.......and wish me luck.....I HATE climbing ladders.  |

Yep. 11:00 PM here.....just woke up from passing out at 8:00 tonight. Sore as all hell. So far, got 4 out of 6 walls all removed. Took twice as long on the 1 wall with all the utility wires and such.....the thought of getting fried wasnt appealing.
And Chips, yea, I know its hot but had to wait for the custom bay window to come from Anderson. Put that in last weekend. So far, Im still alive, but tomorrow, more of the same....have to do the 2nd floor dormer, what fun.
Also, lost half my driveway due to the siding debris. |

Yea Dark, dropping the main is fine to take the meter out to remove it from the wall, but the wires above the house on the ledger board are still live..... our electric company STILL hasnt come to change the feed cable from when I upgraded to 200 amps last autumn. BAHHHHHH
Anyway, screwing around for a couple minutes here to give my neighbors a little more weekend sleep, then the hammers and prybars come back out. Ok ok, I'll admit, screwing around right now because I needed my coffee first.
Now they say the siding wont be delivered until Wednesday.....so now I have time to put in 1 additional new window in the living room to match the bay window. Also, have to build 2 new entrances (we had aluminum awnings....yuck) Yea, even with no new siding yet, I still got a ton of stuff to do.
1 thing Im learning from all of this......Im not 20 years old anymore. And the second thing.....Im still gonna kill Falcon whenever I meet him. You didnt really think Id let that age coment go, did ya?  |
