anyone know what kinda bots we use.. cuz the ones that i dl for lan games are really bad... is it maybe that i need new waypoints? someone help plz.

I don't remember how to change it, but did you change their difficulty to the max?

its like botskill 5 and botskill 1 both are uber noobish

Bots just suck in general, there's nothing you can do about it. Even if you get them as good as the CfH bots, they will still suck too much. 'nuf said.

those bots are pretty damn good they airshot me with like pyro rockets when i conc past them.

its basically amazing

You asked what bots are used on our main...someone correctly answered you. You then said..."yeah, I use them too". Then you mention that botskill 1 & 5 are both uber noobish...which is rediculous. By default, they're installed at skill 1...the most difficult. It also seems your comments are mixing up the bots on our main server and your lan server...so I really don't know what you're asking at this point.

I use Foxbots...you use Foxbots. You're familiar with waypoint files...so if you have them, they should navigate properly. I use botskill 3 on the main...just smart enough that the medics heal you and you have a better than average chance of not being detected as a spy if you feign before they see you do it.

So...it seemed to me that your question was answered. If you have any other questions, please ask and be specific.

that is really weird then.. cuz on my lan i have foxbot with the default waypoints. i putt it at skill 1 and i massacre them while the walk around rooms barley climbing the stiars. same goes with 5. something must be wrong.. could it possibly be the waypoints?

Yeah...sounds like they're not navigating the map. I don't recall if they come with "default" waypoints. Check your "Foxbot/tfc" folder ... you should have folders for areas, scripts and waypoints. Obviously, you should have files in the waypoints folder for any map you're using them on. If you don't have em...go get em.

nah i have them / just downloaded new ones. they like walk around and fight and such... but their skill is deinfltey limited in fighting. they do go for caps tho
