I got a demo from when I spected him, any suggestions on getting it posted??

While spectating...especially if you use custom crosshairs, they'll change frequently back and forth between the steam default and your own custom xhair. This behavior is not unusual.

I viewed this demo using x-spectate on a lan server. X-spectate is a hack...designed to work only while spectating or viewing a demo. It will allow you to see other players through walls...displaying their class and location.

There was no evidence whatsoever of any type of wall hack...and there was no evidence of using aimbot. A friendly sg was on the roof with this same sniper...effectively pinning them down where they were easily picked off. There were some nice shots...and several misses that don't indicate any type of aiming assistance.

I realize there's a group of people, including some admins, that will never trust Miles...or believe that he doesn't hack. Hopefully, this demo will serve as the beginning of the education of this group that this isn't the case. He was caught, he admitted it and told me he was sorry. Some have told me their real issue is that he never apologised to us all...as a group. Personally, I would like to see that myself...as it may go a long way to finally ending the witch hunt.

If you've every really watched him play...so much of what he's capable of could not possibly be related to any type of hack...his concing skills, his knowledge of most every map. Hacks don't help those abilities. He's a long time player with exceptional skills...skills that many of us wish we had. There's simply nothing to see in this demo...nothing at all.

Just going off what Chips just said. You can tell when they're hacking and when they aren't most of the time. Miles is a long time player as are alot of us. Hacks can't do anything Chips described above. All hacks can do is make your shots hit or easier. They can't help your concing skills, map knowledge, rocket/pipe jumping. They can't help you do that. I agree with Chips' statement. And I forgive Miles. I advise you all to do the same.

But i do agree with the hacking and non hacking thing. I cant get he demo to work but im just gonna agree with not hacking b/c a majority did. Wink
