Wait, Hold it.
It's the Nintendo Revolution.
Except that Nintendo gave it a gay name.
Seriously, Wii?
THat's like HL2: Episode 1.

You mean Nintendo Wi-Fi?
The little wireless internet thing for the DS.
Otherwise, what the hell am I looking at? |
No, not Nintendo Wi-Fi for the DS.
You're looking at Nintendo Wii.

As of Thursday, April 27th, 2006; Nintendo Revolution has been renamed, or rather had it's real name revealed to the public; Nintendo Wii. |

Nintendo isn't going to fail, they have a huge fanbase, and people will buy the new nintendo system based on loyalty alone. For that they stand to make millions of dollars just based on that aspect. Personally I think the system is crap. I hate the controllers, and now I hate the name ps3 ftw (if it ever comes out) |

TD... how can you hate controllers you haven't played w/?
i think the controllers will ROCK.
the #1 thing that will keep Nintendo in the running:
PS3 is gonna cost almost $500. Xbox360 costs ~$500. Nintendo Wii's price: ~$150. Nintendo will win will everyone who can't afford to pay alot for games. Not to mention, alot of people that normally buy 2 of the 3 systesmw ill probably buy Wii as the second system, simply because they don't want to spend upwards of 500 for a second system(especially when alot of games that come out for PS come out for Xbox). Not to mention, as TD said, Nintendo has one of the most loyal fanbases out there, and a few big name games, like the Zelda series, and Mario series. |

Wow, I second all of that, I just can't wait to try it out. |

Controllers = for TV Users mainly.
IT's a switching thing, an alternative for those, who still aren't accustomed to these new "complex" controllers.
They're different, yes, but they will weild some advantages.
And Nintendo Won't Die, as TD said.
THey do have a load of supporters, and they are more "family friendly" then Sony, and especially Microsoft. |

Even if I thought the whole concept of the Revolution(the controller, etc.) was gay, I'd still buy it because of it's back catalog. |

PS3 will not cost $1000. 360 is more like 400-500. And I don't think they were saying they wouldnt buy it for the name. We just think the name and the controllers suck... |

The PS3 is FAR supperior to all other consoles, making the 360 look like a beat up basketball.
The only problem is that all this good tech HAS to come with a price, and the 360 got out earlier, so they already have the lead.
360 is good, the best for now, but it will lose its momentum with time.
Sony has to time it just right to make maximum profits, about the time when the 360 just doesn't cut it anymore, but not when they start cutting prices.
However, Sony has delayed for years, so their Fan-base is diminishing. Plus they're controllers are ugly, so it's really turning people away.
Nintendo, wait, I already said all this... |

Who ever said PS3 will cost $1000 is pulling that out of their ass (sorry for the language).
Sony will take the loss by pricing it around the same as the Xbox360's launch price, they've got the money to do it, and if they don't do it then they're not going to get any sales. No one in their right mind is going to pay $800 for a console. They'll keep it reasonably priced (200-500) and milk all their money through accessories, subscriptions, etc. |

True Ashin.
But people are willing to buy all 4 color cars, so...
And plus, the PS3 has more to offer from, especially RE 5.
So people may be pulled in.
however, the common man wouldn't even pay $500 for just a console.
Thank GOD for the Computer.
I <3 the PC |

Cars on the other hand can be collectors items. A piece of electronic entertainment isn't a collectors item unless you've got the money to be spending left and right.
An average american household would not pay more than $500 for a console; so at the very highest, Sony would be smart to not go any higher what so ever; and then having a load of accessories available for purchasing. And with the introduction of an online network similar to Xbox360, with two different levels of accounts (free & subscriptions w/ more features). |
