I feel the same way now (although i dont have kids, geez you people are old,  ). Having this information about what is possibly making him have outbursts changes the situation quite a bit.
Crims, good choice on making sure he can't use a mic. I think that will take care of a lot of the problems. Have your parents ever thought of limiting the amount of time he spends on the computer and playing games? I have a few friends who deal with siblings with severe cases of add or autism, and I see how hard it is for them. Good luck. |

yah, I think practically everyone here thinks the same way.
Unless you've gone crazy and want to corrupt the future so Humanity crumbles.
Anyway, I've got a 4 year old sister, and I don't want her to be exposed to this kind of carp (yes, carp).
However, it's shown that children are beginning to do things earlier then ever now. That includes Swearing. From buying their own cell phones (average age is now 12) to having...you know.... This new generation is really going crazy. Maybe this is a turn for the worse.
But Crimson, are you really Owned's Bro?
Is he still 11? |

As much as there is a problem, there has to be a solution. i understand he cant help it, but steps, even drastic steps, should be taken.
Obviously, I dont care about the swearing. I dont believe swearing is bad, yet i dont do it infront of people that are higher than me.
Just, go light on him, but... dont at the same time. |

Heh, not true for me, first cell phone at 16, still single(came so close to not being single though), but yeah, I'd agree that the new generation is pretty crazy. And yes, he's really owned's brother, and he's 12 now I believe. |

mm: trust me, living with him for 12 years isn't fun. not much you can do but jack up his meds, sadly.. if he could take ritalin, he'd be fine. but he has to take alternatives because he's so skinny and his metabolism is nuts. unfortunately, the alternatives suck. He's one of those medical miracles. getting rid of the mic was enough for now. i'll get a keystroke logger to see if he keeps it up. |
