I hereby request we ditch pigstats (which i hate) and use HLStas, which is better and cooler and more awsome. Get anshin and set it up chips !! please? preaaty please?

Only thing I dislike about the current stats is, if you change your name, nothing adds up. I think you would see a truer stat if it were based on Steam ID vs name...but hey, Im old, wtf do I know. Laughing

chips you should hand down the stats power to another admin. yes you do have alot on your plate, so just share your plate with another person. dont want you keeling over from a heart attack because of your oldness Confused

Chips....face facts, if the server the stats were on caught a nasty virus, stats would restart.
Keegs, (and no, Im not making any comparisons) had reset stats twice in the 4+years it was up.....and no one ever died from it.
If you had good stats then, you'll have good ones now.
I say, screw the old ones and start anew. Why waste time when the truth is, the regulars here will still play, and still gather their stats up, and in reality, you will undoubtly get rid of those people that came once, played for a map, and never returned.
This, coming from somone who at the last time Keegs reset the stats, lost over 80, 000 kills. Thats not a typo. 80K, down the toilet.

Another reason for resetting, the people that were true noobs when they first came here, while they got better, that first month or 2, or 3, of getting totally mopped up, have gotten better, yet it will take months for their true skill to show up, trying to un-do their stats they got when they were learning.

One more reason for resetting....stats are just basic guuides of a players skills. As I wrote to Fly just last night, for me anyway, I have 2 styles of play, Pubbing, and match play. There are some here that have clanned with me, and I would like to think they will atest, I am a bit different when it comes to match time.....no joking, no fooling around, and complete seriousness. If I were to transfer that match play attitude to CfHs pub, Im pretty damn well sure I could easily get a handful of regs to leave and never come back. Laughing

Not to mention having to hear "cheater, hax, and all that other crap when someone doesnt play nice-nice with others. Surprised

Fact.....I went and bought an additional HL cd-key for DuK, and wouldnt let him play on Keegs with my 1st one, not out of vainness, but I knew what would happen as he was learning under my WoN acct there. We had alot of friendly competition there, so it was for nothing more then bragging rights, as it is here.

I say, start anew.....spring time is here, a time for planting newness. Smile
