If you not respawning correctly in your map, add +deathmatch 1 the the end of the game_exe line in the advanced run map compile window.

To limit teams the red and blue (or whatever), add a tf_detect entity, and look in the properties of it.

Edit: I had questions, but I ansewered them, and so I just posted the answers.

If you have any questions, post them here and I or someone else will answer them!

Make brush object (your window shape).
Apply glass or any texture.
Right clik> Properties> Tie to Entity.
Choose func_breakable or function_wall (wall is not breakable).
Render Mode: Texture.
FX amount: 1 = completly invisible, 255 = not transparent at all. 50 - 100 works good for glass, but use whatever works best for you.

That's all there is too it.

Alternately, you can make your window, then hit Ctrl+t

actually, its 0-255, and you may want to use solid instead of texture
put a window in a dark room with "texture" and you'll see...

Is Render Mode: Texture windows why my transparent weapons dissapear when I stand infront of the window? Would the transparent weapons not do that with Render Mode: Solid windows? hmm, let me go see....

Ok, I still have yet to try all of this out, real life caught up with me and kicked me in the face. I should be able to start working on it again tomorrow, hopefully.

I have a big question. Why can't I load the pointfile? I have a leak in my map, and the pointfile won't load. It was generated, and it's in the right folder.

Stupid question: Did you click the 'Load Pointfile' button?

Otherwise idk, try compiling it and testing it again and then try and load it again.

Quick but easy question..... How tall is an uncrouched and crouched character in whatever units they use in Hammer.
