| Yea i hear ya AOM. Most of the time when i work in the city it is the same thing with me. Sometimes i am lucky and get to ride in on the subway with my dad so we can have some father son time to oogle the girls. Right now i am working on the other side of the city so the ride is right around an hour and a half. But it does have free parking so that is a plus for me. |

I lost my cell phone
Insurance company doesn't have my model (Motorola V710)- they offered me a chessy LG model with half the features. BAH!
The F'er who picked it up made two calls the next day before I turned it off.
The F'ing wireless company I use won't give me the numbers they called so I can offer a reward for returning my phone with ALL MY NUMBERS and more importantly ALL THE PICTURES AND VIDEO OF MY KIDS!!!

meh thats the least of your concern.. this guy i know picked up a lost cell phone, made a dozen or so prank phone calls...(including to stored numbers in the phone), and loaded up tons of pr0n with the little web browser. i bet that got expensive really quick 
i didnt feel too badthough cause there were pics of the guy on the phone and he looked like he was 13 and his mommy and daddy would be paying for the phone anyways... i guess that'll teach him to pay attention to his belongings...

well wrong agian, actually a couple admins idle in the irc channel like i know jarrett is in there a lot and then theres xfire then theres the forums with pm and email and IM's so actually if there isnt an admin on the server there most likely one around

When I posted that, I remember playing here exclusively after hitting a circuit of like three or four servers for a few months. It's posed as an absolute, but "there is always an admin here" is more of a relative statement.
This place rocks (not to blow tiny bubbles up anyone's ass) I remember playing on these other great servers, with great players serving up great action, then someone would come into 2fort as spy and feign on the respawn door, locking it and essentially trapping everyone that spawned there afterward - and no one could stop them. It just brought the server to a screeching halt. No admin, just me and a few others stuck with the jerkoffs. For the most part that does not happen here. "Usually" plenty of admins around (sufficiently conditional?) to stop the nonsense.

Yea dude sucks about the phone, and losing all the numbers in it. Im not sure but isnt there a way to back up the SIM card in these new fandangled phones? And also maybe the pics that you take on your new phone you should email a copy to yourself for safe keeping. But I think that costs you money right?
and AOM I forgot what youy told me about your old job of being funny. I think it was a writer for some show but im not to sure beacuse that might be one of my forgotten dreams?  |

Bam, sup dude.
Old yes, ass kicker on a good day.
I don't care about killing, I play to win. Which means when the final score posts, my team needs to win. I hit demos and HW's with a wrench and build good O teleporters when engie, med pack my best when medic, that kind of stuff. Which also means I change classes when I believe what I'm doing (even if I'm doing something well) is not serving my teams general good. In a lot of ways it is the virtual representation of my real life spiritual practice . . . or something.
It's not called Me Fortress Classic for a reason. |

Ya there is. I bluetooth my pics on to my computer for backup like once a month and also have an extra SIM with 90% of my numbers on it. def a good idea. |

Ain't been around much lately. I've been to the hospital ER three times in the last 7 days. The 16 yo has Lyme Disease and needed a spinal tap to check for meningitis (negative) and the baby had a raging fever that required two trips in two nights and a bag of IV anti-biotics to break.
It's like I'm like Norm from Cheers when I walk through the door of the ER . . . |
