This is a question to all you FireFox users. I want to give this a try but I am a little hesitant since I have some question about it. First question is can I install FireFox on just my account on this computer? You see there are two users that are on this computer and I dont want to fark up the other account by putting something else on it. Second question is How easy was it to transfer your favs from IE to FireFoz as I have alot of Favs and some are really important to me and I dont want to loss them by switching to a new browser.

Thanks in advance for feedback on this. Good Idea

firefox will install on all user accounts, but personal settings and favs are separate.
importing from ie ie really easy. just click next a couple times after installing nd it copies all your ie favs to firefox bookmarks.

well, it'll install it for the other users, but they don't have to use it

it doesn't effect IE at all

Firefox really is not everything that it's made out to be. It slows things down, and I have found Opera to be a much better choice over firefox. Much more convenient to add new tabs, much faster browser. Great in browser video playback for almost any video.

First off, all 3rd party browsers are slow, as they have to initiate, while IE is always running, its builtin to windows

Second off, how is it hard to add tabs in firefox? Ctrl + click, file -> new tab... how is that hard?
not to mention the right click menu...

executing multiple keystrokes for another tab is really annoying when all i have to do in opera is go in the left corner and click 1 time for a new page. It's much easier and I don't have to keep pressing Ctrl+T everytime, or go into File+New Tab every time.

The biggest problem I have with firefox is that when I go into a web that has a login name and password I put mine in and it still wont log me in!!!?
It does it almost every time I try to log on here. I usually just use IE with our fourms and emails, and FireFox with general searches.

I have IE, Firefox and Firebird
I use mainly Firefox but on occasion I have to use my IE for ftp control type applications for some odd reason. Either way just because you download Firefox, you still have IE available to you unless you are an idiot and delete it of your pc?

firefox > IE

firefox install on all user accounts, but you can still set IE to be the default for each account i believe?
