I was talking to someone last night, cant remember who or about what.....but, if you find you have been tagged and when you reloaded Steam, it was gone, and every time you re-do it, it disappears again the next day, the problem is, your CFG file is locked as as READ ONLY.
Find the file in your STEAM/STEAMAPPS/screenname/Team Fortress Classic/TFC folder, right click on it and click on PROPERTIES, then click off the READ ONLY box.
Now open it (in notepad is ok) change the name here.....scroll down, youll see your usual name , now change it to name
"-[CfH]- Your Name"
Now click on the top "SAVE"
Now, find the file again in your STEAM/STEAMAPPS/screenname/Team Fortress Classic/TFC folder, right click on it and click on PROPERTIES, then click the READ ONLY box ON.

you can edit it with read only set
read-only only prevents automated changes... like what TFC does |
