So sometimes we get a spammer or an overall dick, but what about the times we get people like that and there aren't any admins around?

What do we do to contact you guys?
I know Chips can pop in and check, but how do we get you guys?
Since we don't have a Vote_Kick option or anything, we could use this.

you *could* try going on IRC and you might stand a chance at getting aud or jarrett... but its pretty much hopeless. best thing you can do is report them to the ban thread section.
Then again... most of the admins don't play anymore... or hardly do.

You'll find that most of the posts in the bans section are dealt with rather quickly. There can't possibly be an admin on all the time. Check IRC first...one of us is usually around.

Posting here...who, what and when something happened...is all that's needed to check out what's going on. It may not be as swift as you want it and you may have to deal with a butthead for a while...but they're usually taken care of...for good. Cool

Idea: Chips, is there such a plugin that you chat somethin like "admin help" and your home computer would beep or somthing in case your there?

a computer beeping would be so annoying lol. I dont think chips or whoever is home at the time would enjoy hearing a beep sound for a long time until chips gets home...i kno i wouldnt and neither would my dad.

Anyway the best thing to do is what Chips and others have said...just go into our mIRC chat room #cfh and see if any admins are on and if not just get his name, steam ID, what time and map it occured. I kno it sucks when someone is TSing, flag holding, or just being an ass, but ya just gotta stick it out until a admin comes or chips responds to ur post...trust me i've been through this a few times already on CfH

Seems like most of the time when i need a admin, i cant get a hold of one hehe. Razz

I meant just one beep per chat of "admin help". If he's there and hears that one beep, kool.
If he's not then oh well, but it would not continue (just one, single, short beep or sound), and wouldn't be loud enough to wake any one up.

Like, if Chips is in the same room as his computer in a Lazy Boy recliner reading his paper drinking his coffee smoking his cigar he could hear it but he'd miss it if he was on the throne. Not too loud, not too annoying.

There's stuff out there that would alert an admin in the IRC room if someone on the server calls for an admin. But that's not much help if there's no admin there.

I'm seriously considering some new admins...perhaps that will help.

If I'm home I'm almost always on IRC, if you were to get in there and say my name like 3 or 4 times I might check it if I'm not busy. I have it set to beep if my name is ever said. I'll help as long as I'm not busy at the moment.

So IRC an Admin is probably going to get someone.

What about something like that RocktheVote thing you guys have?
