Holy Spit! I found what might be one of the neatest HL2 mods...........

Dodgeball Alpha 6.

Not really complex(overall), but damned neat, and quite difficult! Not to mention fairly addictive with a few people in the game. Fileplanet has it, but fileplanet sucks....wait in line 45 minutes to an hour, for a 60 second download. That's just nuts. Anyway, it is a neat mod for the Source engine, and I'm hoping some of you guys will end up with it, so I can bounce a ball off your head.

Oh, and it has multiple maps, power-ups, and "superballs".

Chips, you won't be disappointed, I think. It doesn't take but a few minutes to learn HOW to play, and I can give you a few hints about some things(will do below), but getting it down enough to kick peoples asses.........NOT easy.

There are 3(that I know of) "Superballs", aside from the regular red Gym balls:

Black(with timer) - Explodes on impact with another player, and kills them(and, I think, any players too close). Timer is basicly a visual(at this time....who knows what they might do with it). If it hits the ground, it rolls to a stop and can be picked up by opposing players.

Green(kinda greenish-yellow)- Bursts on first contact with either ground or player, flinging tennis-balls into a small area. The affect is that it slows down any player in the burst radius, effectively making them an easier target.

Orangish glittery ball- Bursts on contact with either ground or player. The affected area is engulfed in flames, as is any player in the area of affect. They slowly burn and die(but you don't get a point).

Something else to note, is that if an opposing player throws a normal red ball at you, and you catch it(not easy to do, it's better to dodge it), they die and you get a point(I think).

2 maps I'm fairly good at, are the Schoolyard map, and the Skyscraper map.

Kills get you "experience points", as well as kill points. EX points can be traded for powerups, but I haven't explored them very much as yet.
