Once you have it installed, you will need to AUTH your account. I'll ask in the forums on how to do that, as its been years since I did it.
Once you have it installed, you need to find everyone.
Pick the server...... GAMESURGE
Then pick the channel...... so do this. Click on VIEW, then OPTIONS, then OPTIONS again...in the PERFORM box, type /join #cfh "Yes/OK it to death and then click on FILE, CONNECT. Somewhere you will have to pick a name and password.....whatever floats your boat at this point.
Once in the CfH channel, you will be more up to date as to whats going on, or just idle there and have fun......good people in there as well as on the server.
As for Tuesday nights, CfH plays in matches in a league, and sometimes they need to use the server for their matches......thats what I meant when I said that it might go down tonight......but if it does, its only for an hour or so. In IRC you will know about these things.
Anyway, any other way I can help, and here I am. =)

......what I need from you people if possible, is detailed help in setting up his account, how to AUTH, etc etc.
I told him how to find the channel and how to get on to Gamesurge......the rest is up to you guys.

For the life of me, I dont remember how I set mine up as it was years ago.....if I deleted it off of here, Id be totally clueless. =)
