I made a run to Circuit City to pick up a DVD player I ordered via their website and 24 / 24 pick-up concept(It was ready when I got there, within 15 minutes...DAMN THEM!)....I put the DVD player out in the car, then went back in to pick up an ink cart for my printer, and decided to look around the game section(usually not allowed near it.... ) But anyway, they had lots of copies of HL2:GOTY edition....and sitting off by itself, was the last copy of the Collectors Edition.
You know, the one that retailed for $79.99.....
It was discounted to $34.99....
It came home with me.
So now I'm hooked up with HL2....and yeah.....I knew it was good....but the demo doesn't even TOUCH what that game has.
I'm hooked up with everything but DoD:Source.........DAMMIT!! |

Dude, the $80 came in that HUGE box and Came with a T-Shirt, you got hat for that DVD priced one?
I hate you...
I'm a Kid, and I got the Collector's Box edition for $75 at Curcit City, Register person asked if it was for me, I said yes, he started hassling me about "How It's Too Good For Kids Like Me", I said I was the 2nd Runner Up in the Regional Counter Strike Championship, the questions ended there.
I can't beleive you got t for LESS than Half Price, AND you didn't have to go through what I had too!

Whats GOTY Edition? I got the special edition with t-shirt(without hat) for the retail value of the original one when it came out...
Everything special is underpriced in Virginia... I bought HL2 on my band trip =P |

GOTY = Game of the Year. It's their special repackaging with just the basics.
Star- Yep, the huge box with the t-shirt and hint book. I'm old....(39)....no one hassles me about buying games anymore. As for the cashiers attitude, I'd have reported that(along with his name) to Circuit City....they don't like that kind of crap.
Kibbles - Where do you install mods? Does Steam auto recognize it? I got the Goldeneye mod, but there's no instructions on where to put the files. |

Under your "SteamApps" folder...there should be a "SourceMods" folder. If you don't have one...simply create it. All source mods will go in that folder. I've played HL2CTF, Gmod9 and a mod I just started that I like so far called Metastasis. |

What are you waiting for Iggy? GO FOR IT!
BTW: Already reported it when I got back, they sent an apology, but it seemed like an automated one to me.
That T-Shirt's BIG, huh.
