Was just browsing through the STA webby and scrolling through the TFC BanList and i found this dude...Leadmine. I dont kno if you guys remember him or not, but as soon as i saw the name i recognized it. We banned him for cursing or something liek that i think and he was just banned by STA on 1/28/06 for anticonc, bhop assist in a ugc 7v match. I dont have a point or anything, was just a lil bored and was like "hey hey i remember this dude, lol he got banned...moron."
I can also say i'm a lil surprised to see a few other people on that list that i used to play w/ back in the day...but thats another story. |

unless someone has some damn good hard evidence...may i suggest we just not bother going there? it will just result in another locked thread because everyone has to chime in with their one sentence cliches that run in circles.

Do I need to copy and paste all the proof? Its all in there, with no one disputing he did it. The only problem I have with it all is not that Chips unbanned him. Face it, its Chips' server, and he can do what he wants with it, to whomever he wants.
From the people I have talked with over the course of time, I believe the biggest thing going against Miles at this point is simply down to one thing.....Miles himself! As per what Chips wrote in all of that forum, Miles wrote to him explaining and apologizing to him, as if Chips were the only person involved. Yet it was us, you, me, and everyone else that plays here, that was not given an apology.

That topic lasted 17 days, and that was his only response. He is quick to judge US, as if we dont have a mind and cant think for ourselves. So instead of saying, "Hey guys, yea, I screwed up, I was trying something out and forgot it was still on, sorry, wont happen again", we got, "I really dont play TFC to much anymore so =/" I dunno, maybe to you PS, thats an apology, to me, its a "Eh, who cares" attitude"
So ya know what, maybe he did just screw up, maybe he was trying to help out by learning hacks so he could teach others how to spot it, <cough> bullshit <cough> maybe maybe maybe. Fact is, he used it here where we all come to have fun, got caught using it on numerous servers on numerous occasions, including here, with a story that might satisfy the owner of this community, but not its members.
Myself, I could care less what anyone thinks of me for my views, nor could I care less whom Chips lets play here......its his, not mine, or yours or anyone elses.
However, I have a right to say who I will or wont play with, and as far as Miles goes, he never once apologized to any one of us, the people he plays with, and THATS why it keeps popping up.
Im all for giving a person a second chance, hell, I know Ive pissed off enough of the people here at one time or another...and I know Chips has gotten flak for being lean on me at times (for which Im grateful for ) 
Maybe if Miles didnt just disappear for awhile, then come back and act as if all was forgotten, and actually stood up to the community for what he did, then maybe people will give him some slack on it......because obviuosly, it hasnt been forgotten on the communities part. Takes a big man to admit his mistakes and take his lickings......and as of yet, in my belief, and obviously others too, he hasnt. |

People deserve second chances.
I think until he f***s up again, leave him be.
And I'm pretty sure thats the way Chips' ruled it.
Chips' server = Chips' rules...
I don't mean to come off as an ass recently, but some people need to grow up... And in this case, people need a tad more forgiving and a tad less hasty...
I think the word proper for Miles' is he "repented"
With repent comes forgivness.
Drop it.
Please don't talk about it anymore.
I really don't want to get into it more.
And I'm sure everyone else is SICK of it.
Thats why it was locked.

The tone from some here is that I and the admins have failed for not getting rid of him. When in fact, we did. That entire list was added to our ban files not long after it came out. He asked for, and received...a second chance. Others have done the same...with good results.
I agree with Toughy that maybe he should have been more open and sincere. But people repent in different ways and at different levels.
Unless someone has an accusation they want to get off their chest...we really should just put this to bed. |
