DDR owns. Over here, Pacific Northwest, its totally social. There's singalongs at tournaments and so much more. My town and surround areas have a great DDR scene. We badly need IIDX. And Initial D, but only because Initial D is the best arcade game ever.

I almost live at the arcade here. I play DDR and In The Groove 2, always Doubles.

On Doubles I can AA nearly everything on DDR, and I'm playing 11/12 difficulty on ITG2.

when I do get around to playing (which is rarely, anymore Sad

), all I ever play is Doubles.

Back in the day I could comfortably A songs like Cartoon Heroes on doubles but I'm out of shape now and struggle to get above a C on Ecstacy (which should so be an 8 not a 7)

My town was one of the first to get ITG once it was official released, but we still don't have ITG2. Sad

Either way, DDR SEEMS weird initially, but you start to get used to it.

Uhg...Pandemonium still kicks my ass, I can get like a 96% on hard but I rarely pass expert with more than a 60 something...

I struggle with stuff like Lemmings on the Run, so don't feel too bad Razz

I wish I never quit DDR for a few months, I was actually good back in the day, (at least by the standards then. Something like 28 greats on R&P would be laughed at now)

since this topic is back up, i got my para para paradise controller and game.
in the process of bugging the seller "omg wheres my controller!" for several months, TWO were sent to me!
i bought the second one cheap.
so doubles PPP? Razz

now i have one to mod for somthing(will post to all when its done), and one to keep normal.

I'm alright at DDR. I can A a couple of 9footers.

I'd rather freestyle with some easier stuff. Get some creativity out and whatnot, it gets bland just stomping around with 11 footers when all you are really doing is stomping. Not really dancing in the least.

With easier stuff (5 footers. 6 Footers) You can Incorperate a routine and the like. I feel it to be more fun.

Ohhh!! Should try DDR with FOUR dance pads and one player! Some people and I played that and made it out to be a lil contest. You actually go flying all over the dance pads. Awesome stuff!!

I can imagine Bonsai spilling his noodles all over the pads doing that. Laughing

hahaha. Sounds like our living room. We actually MOVE the coffee table and the couches so we can fit the four dance pads in the room. Haven't played the game in a while though...maybe we should dust off the dance pads. Very Happy

haha thats my sister she always wants me to challenge her and one time i was dumb enough to accept her challenge and she put it on the one that goes incredibly fast so i looked completely retarted ATTEMPTING this "ddr".... i will never do it again for as long as i live
