plz for the love of god do something about getting a new server

Where doing all we can. I know i am and we cant just expect him to get one up in one day. He has to make the server then ship it to texas and that takes time and money.

It has come to my attention, that getting a new server was a pipe dream, thought up quite a bit of time ago. I have offered to donate money to the cause of getting a new server, but everytime I was rejected. I suggest that chips, chaos, and whoever else is involved in this endeavor, to get your s**t together. Seriously gather together people who want to/have donated, and see what becomes of it. The information of the new server has been vague at best. I don't appreciate of being accused of not donating any money, when I have offered to pay for a whole year, and was turned down. Like I said before, get your s**t together, and then come talk to me. With the "influx" of good players we have now, I'm sure donations, even minor ones from a multitude of different people would not be hard to come by. Please get your s**t together.

If we had a dime every time you cussed in that, we'd be able to afford a new server.

J/k. I think money isnt the issue, its the availibility.

Dang TD...where did all that hostility come from? I'm not aware of anyone being told NOT to donate. All donations are appreciated...from everyone.

The facts are that Pat (Chaos' friend) offered us some room on a new machine he was putting together. It would pretty much be dedicated to us except for some late night ftp backups. I've accepted his offer of $40.00 per month and wanted to give him the biz...since he's hosted us all this time for free. Current donations would allow for 10 months of rental...at that point, more donations would be necessary.

We're waiting for Pat to give us the go ahead. Quite honestly, I expected we'd be up and running by now. I hope to hear from him soon to get things rolling.

i'll be able to donate sumthing when i get a job and am able to spend money on something other than food....

Yes, updates plz. I can't even play on the server unless it's just me and one other player with all bots. There's too much lag for me to rocketjump or time grenades and I routinely spike to 400.

if its not a problem for you chips, i'd seriously think about using your home server. but then again that is your connection - so its definately up to you.
