I couldn't get on HLTV myself...had to get updates from the guys in IRC.  |

You can download and install mIRC. Rather small program that just lets you chat with a gazillion folks about any topic you can think of. Our purpose on IRC is to gather gamers together on the gamesurge server. Most gamers of any kind all over the world...can be found here. Follow Jarrett's simple insturctions to install and set it up...it's really simple.

Far...far...far simpler...is to read the thread below. We have a link on the main web site direct to our IRC chat room...and you don't need an IRC (internet relay chat) program of any kind. You are taken there in your browser...this is painfully simple. Just one click...and you're there.

My bad...you misunderstood my explanation. The server I use to broadcast HLTV was in need of an update. YOU don't need to do anything. Your steam program is automatically updated when you log on...there's nothing you need to do. I've updated my server installation...and next time, you'll have no problem connecting. |
