| Are you sure it was 1 year? Because it says that you will be perm banned if you got caught cheating... Just read what it says if VAC2 catches you. I believe it says perm ban. |

O_o, I thought it was permanent ban... But 5 years is basically perm because I know I wouldn't play CS again after 5 years... I will be in college playing for there soccer team  |

X-Spectate is a client side program that will allow you to *WATCH A DEMO* with cheats enabled. It does not function during gameplay, but Steam can detect it as a cheat if you try to use it online. It *CAN* be used in spectator mode, online...but I highly recommend against it...since Steam sees it as a cheat. It's quite useful for what it's intention is....to watch demo's with cheats enabled. It really helps in picking out a cheater, from someone who is really good.
I really want to stress on this, that Steam will detect it as a cheat, even though(as programmed), it can't be used as one. I never use it online, but I will watch a demo of someone with it on...hence the re-start before actually going online after I've used it. |
