| I know for a Counter strike 1.6 hack that it includes a name changer Yamh 2.0 or w/e it had more than just a name changer this maybe the same case maybe not. |

| I watch the guy for a bit...and he had no skillz whatsoever. I doubt he would be any good even with a hack. From the time I got on...I didn't see him change his name once. We'll keep an eye our for him again though. |

| i just checked the vac disabled site and it is prety... disabled. a list of cheats and lots of them marked "detected" lol. |

If he truly was using it...and VAC didn't detect it...shows you what a piece of crap VAC really is. 
There is a server plug-in Kidani that will kick or ban someone doing this. The main intention is to make it harder for an admin to kick/ban a player. This would be true if only rcon was available on the server. Since we use adminmod and kick/ban by steam ID...it's really not an issue for us. But those that do this kinda stuff are typically up to no good. So...we'll just watch out for him for now. |

| I thought it was perm. And I see no need for a name changer like that other than to avoid a kick. I don't think anyone with a need for that (especially since his had names like unkickable and unbanned) has a place at our server. |

How would it be hard to kick/ban the player?
Just go to console and get his STEAM ID and ban him/kick him that way right? |

We're not talking about an admin banning someone...but rather VAC (Valve Anti-Cheat) doing so.
VAC does it automatically if it detects a hack...and no amount of begging to a server admin will reverse what's done. You are banned on all VAC enabled servers for a period of 5 years...end of story. |
