okay i have a headset and my speakers are turned off and i have the mic away from my mouth so no prob there and like i said i get weird feedback when i test it on the steam thing.
also why do the changes you make to the voice tab not stick to what you set them too? |

Options don't "usually" change back by themselves unless they're in a cofig file. Do you have any special sound settings in any of your configs 
Also...check windows sound settings. For playback, mic should be muted. For "Recording", mic should obviously be selected and the volume set. Also, check the advanced tab here...make sure the settings are to your liking. |

okay bring you up to speed got a new mic
and adjust some more settings. still staticy people say and i don't know what else to do. |

| wtf guys please help im really fed up with this i don't mind typing but it's much more convienent to use the mic i could really use some honest help with this and not this crappy lame a@@ bs you guys keep shoving around. |
