Dunno if this has been suggested before, but maybe, just possibly you could work some of these in because the one map that was "CodEd" was quite desired (Fry_baked i think it was)

I think this would be a great addition to your server because
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) the additions are quite fun
2) the editions add some balance between offense and defense to maps that normally are famed for being incredibly defensive-2fort, rock2, xover (some stategically placed packs, teleporters, etc)
3) lots of the maps have neat looking changes to the existing environment which adds some new fun to old maps

figured i'd just throw this out there. respond / pm or something if youre interested
was hoping that some of these maps might take the place of others in your rotation that totally empty the server out (2kfort2_2, maya most notably)

Agreed, resup bags on bridge so help against spammy pyros and whatnot.

I was just asking someone in IRC the other day where I could get the CodE maps. Apparently, #thecode still exists on gamesurge...I just haven't had the time to drop by there and ask.

Fjorn once sent me a link to where they were hosted...but I procrastinated and they were gone by the time I got around to looking. Sad

Always loved those maps...fry_baked on our server is a CodE map...gotta love it. Good Idea

I know Netcode still has them around... hopefully

if not i'll be happy to go through my 3 gigs of maps and pull em out

Netcode had em hosted for a while...but he either moved them or took em down. Careful if you try to package them...some maps require gfx files, sprites, sounds, models...they just won't work without everything intended for the map to play.

Excuse my Ignorance

There once was a TFC server named The CodE...I used to play there every now and then. The guy who ran it...edited many stock valve maps with new entities...see through doors, extra health packs and transporters were common among most of the maps and were his signature...if you will.

I personally love most of them...and will more than likely be throwing some in the rotation soon. The are best experienced...words don't do them justice.

Yes...he (Netcode) did do rock2...I have it. And no, I didn't get a chance to check that map out yet. I downloaded it...but haven't had a moment to look at it. Holiday preparations ya know. Laughing
