well another one has been sucked into the dark side of valves warped mind and bought his product with zombie like thinking.... i mean yes yes i got HL2 today!!!!
will be installing it in the next coming days and will be reveling in the awesomness that is Valve!!!! plus I get to play all them cool Mods with the rest of the crew.  |

| That was the devil Vivendi you heard. They are the publishers of the HL:2 disks, and the ones who pushed HL:2 back a year. I bought my copy on steam and backed up the preload files...all my money went straight to Valve. Since Steam I am against software publisher/vender and buy all my product s straght from the developer/proggrammers. |

yea i know what you mean. My buddy the one that hosts the server kept me updated on ever little move in the relese proccess. i think I even got a call one night at midnight to tell me that it was at the Dist. or some thing like that. i probably wont get half way through the game before i get sucked into the other mods that i can play. That is what i did with HL1. Still havent beat it. lol.wav  |

Valve + HL2 = Sloppy code.
The good hardware gets the stuttering problem.
I have:
AMD Athlon XP 3000+ CPU
1536 MB of Corsair 2-2-2-5 XMS DDR Ram
200GB SATA Hard Disk
Creative SoundBlaster Live! 5.1 Sound Card
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128 MB Graphics Card
All the LATEST drivers for everything.
...and I still get sound stuttering, because they only reserved 16 MB for sound cache, which is shite. |
