cornfield pwns!!!! Good Idea

I for one liked the cydonia map. I know kibbles doesnt like it cuz i killed him way to much on it Very Happy

but yea it is a nice lay out of a map and would be great if it is played in STA Good Idea

The rest of the rotation i like as well. except Dustbowl beacuse i seem to be the only that pushes threw the doors at the start and dies way to much Sad

Bots do not attract players. How was this proven? Who "proved" it? Where does this person live?

People in the server attract players. Not bots. Thats proven.

I like this server because I know people will play here. The bots are filler for those who will join the server first. How long would you play in a server with just yourself? I'll join the server and play if there are only bots knowing that sooner or later people who I enjoy playing with will join.

I only play on two servers, this one and Odin's if this one is down.

MM, when I look for servers I look for ones that say there are people in them. I almost never look at who's in the server. So if I found one and it turned out to have bots, I'd still play knowing that there would be a person that shows up sooner or later.

Just for a change of pace really. 2Fort, in any form attracts players. I actually prefer 2fort2k_2...but many complain about how dark it is. It'll come back in the next rotation probably.

MM...in todays world of ever decreasing server populations, the bots DO attract players. They definitely DON'T attract the hard core, old skool players like yourself that remember the good ole days of no bots. But, the many players trying this game for the first time, or players that never got quite that good...still prefer to play with someone, even bots, than sit on a server by themselves. I've debated this point with others endlessly on the steam forums...and it breaks down as such. The long time l337 players can't stand them...everyone else can tolerate them.

All I am truely saying is that people attract more players better than bots. Thats proven. I never go in a server (except for the fun house) if it doesnt have more than 4 people. Unless if I know them.

first off if i go to a server and no one is on i get off, it is not worth it and i would rather smash a cynder block over my head, at least the bots are there of some enterainment, instead of just me runnin around killin myself, and second off i love the attack defend maps, there is so much action usually. I personally like troy, wish it was on there. Chips is like eight hundred years old so if he says its good for the server its good Laughing

jk about the eight hundred maybe only six. Razz
