i hate it, seriously

I like the rotation, hate that rock2 and badlands have hook.

And the biatching begins... Surprised

Seriously, rotations that you guys have liked in the past...others have hated...and vice versa. Lots like the hook...I can understand that others don't. With 1,800 to 1,900 players stopping by here each month...I say again that it's IMPOSSIBLE to put a rotation together that everyone LOVES. There's bound to be something about it that someone won't like.

That looks pretty good to me Chips, most of them are new to me though. I've never been to rasen chimkey or cmfh but I hope they'll be fun.

Well maybe its posible to get a vote up for a roatation so we all agree on it or at leat the majority dose Good Idea

Kirby...rasen is a brand new map, I've never played it before either. Surprised

Chimkey and Cmfh have been in the rotation before...you'll recognise them once you see them.

Nirvana...the problem with that is this. There's less than 100 active forum members...yet 1,800 play here each month. A very small minority of those that play here would decide the rotation. I really have to try and consider ALL those that come here, why they come here, and what will bring them back. These are always tough decisions...sometimes, some trial and error are involved.

There are some fun, extremely familiar maps in the rotation that everyone knows...that attracts people. There are some unique maps...rasen and cmfh...those attract yet another type of player. The hook mod attracts yet another type of player. My hope is that folks that like a certain "style" of map or play...will stick around to try some of the other maps they've never played. Hopefully, they'll have fun with something (hook) or a map they've never played. That hopefully expands everyone's horizons and keep this game from getting stale.

chimkey is a great map, i used to play it all the time Smile

although the flag room is a bit small and can be hard to get out if it is crammed with sollies.

The only thing i don't like it hook, it becomes really annoying especially on rock2. It takes less skill to get the key and to get away with it becomes 10x easier aswell.

yes but it comes to a pretty low point when the only thing that can catch someone hooking is a scout.

Defense on rock2 isn't hard. I can give you a way to stop almost any scout: have a decent solly at the door to the Warden Office wing.
